R250 000 reward offered for information on R15-million robbery

It is understood that the suspects stole R15-milion worth of electronics, including tablet devices, cellular phones and smartphones.

The National SAPS released a close-up photograph of one of the suspects who robbed World Net Logistics in Edenvale on Sunday, October 5.

A R250 000 reward is offered to anyone with information.

Other photographs, captured from CCTV footage, also show the vehicles used in the robbery. A VW Crafter and an Isuzu truck, both white, were used by the suspects. The vehicle’s registration plates were found to be false.

It is understood that the suspects stole R15-milion worth of electronics, including tablet devices, cellular phones and smartphones.

About four to six suspects gained entrance into the business park in Sebenza, Kempton Park, through a security gate and robbed one of the warehouses on the premises. Workers were reportedly locked up at the time of the robbery.

A case of business robbery is under investigation.

According to a statement released by the SAPS, a third party has also offered a substantial amount of money as a reward for any information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects and recovery of the stolen goods.
