Household forum learns of fraud

Mr Juan Roets enlightened members about the various ways to avoid being a victim of card fraud, card cloning and card skimming.

Nedbank Eastgate Branch representatives, Ms Cassandra Naidoo, Ms Bohakele Mshengu and Mr Juan Roets, were the guest speakers at the Bedfordview Household Consumers’ League meeting.

The meeting took place on Wednesday, September 10, at the James Sadie Auditorium in Bedfordview.

During the meeting, Ms Mshengu informed the members of the various savings and investments on offer to senior citizens. Mr Juan Roets enlightened members about the various ways to avoid being a victim of card fraud, card cloning and card skimming.

Ladies are invited to join the club. The club meets every second Wednesday of the month at the James Sadie Auditorium.

Regular, fun, consumer-related outings are attended once a month. Anyone interested in joining the group can contact Ms Ina Loizides on 011 648-4729 or 083 352 0282.
