The Sebenza SAPS are investigating a case of carjacking which took place on Laurel Lane in Edleen on September 9.
According to Sebenza SAPS communications officer, Constable Sharon Mahamba, “The man was driving home from work when the incident took place”.
“When he arrived at his home he exited the vehicle to open the gate. When the man walked back to enter his vehicle he heard the sound of a gunshot,” said Const Mahamba.
“The man then noticed a black VW Golf driving towards him. The men exited the vehicle and pointed their firearms at him. The man then demanded the keys to his vehicle and fled the scene in the man’s vehicle,” said Const Mahamba.
Investigations continue and no arrests have been made.
