Sebenza SAPS confirmed a man leaving his home was robbed of his possessions on Mongoose Street in Esther Park.
According to Sebenza SAPS communications officer, Constable Sharon Mahamba, “The man was leaving for work at 6am. He entered his vehicle, opened his gate and reversed”.
“While waiting for the gate to close, the man noticed a red Opel Corsa stop behind him. Two armed men exited the vehicle and pointed firearms at him,” said Const Mahamba.
They pulled him out of his vehicle, proceeded to search him and took his wallet, vehicle keys, laptop, cellular phone and house keys,” said Const Mahamba.
Investigations continue and no arrests have been made.
