Domestic worker robs former employer

“The former domestic worker and her accomplice entered the woman's home, pushed her to the floor and tied her hands and feet with electrical cord,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.

The Bedfordview SAPS is looking for a domestic worker after she robbed the house of a former employer on Boeing Road in Bedfordview on August 15.

According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “The homeowner was alone in her home when she heard a knock on her door.”

When the woman answered, she was confronted by her former domestic worker and a female accomplice.

The former domestic worker informed the woman that she had found a job recently and that she only sought to ask to use her as a reference.

The woman refused to be used as a reference and accused the domestic worker of stealing her necklace and cellular phone during.

“The former domestic worker and her accomplice entered the woman’s home, pushed her to the floor and tied her hands and feet with electrical cord,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.

“The two suspects stole a wallet containing money, a drivers license and bankcards. The pair also looted drawers for any valuables. The two women then left the scene, using the victim’s gate remote to exit the premises,” said Sgt Nhlabathi. @BedfordJourno
