Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said police officers were patrolling Cleveland Road when they saw a man lying on the pavement.
“When the officers approached to see what was going on, they saw blood. The officers called an ambulance and the man was certified dead,” said Const Mashakane.
The victim had two stab wounds to his chest. His identity is unknown and fingerprints will be obtained to determine his identity.
