Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said an employee of the school alleged she was at work when she caught two pupils smoking dagga on the sports field.
“When they saw her they dropped the dagga cigarette and ran away. The SAPS was called and the two pupils (17) were arrested and later released into the care of their parents,” said Const Mashakane.
