Two men were arrested for theft out of a motor vehicle in Yeoville. The arrests took place at the corner of Rocky and Bezuidenhout streets on Saturday, August 24.
According to Constable Thabo Malatji, the spokesperson of the Yeoville SAPS, the suspects broke into two vehicles that were parked on the street corner. The owner of one of the vehicles noticed one of the suspects in the act of breaking into his vehicle and alerted the police. Const Malatji said the officers reacted swiftly and caught the men in the act. He said the suspects were arrested and detained at the Yeoville SAPS. They are expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges of theft out of a motor vehicle,” said Const Malatji. @JoburgJourno
