Three men were arrested for possession of a hijacked motorcycle in Yeoville. The arrests took place at the corner of Isipingo and Bezuidenhout streets on Sunday, August 17.
According to Constable Thabo Malatji, the spokesperson of the Yeoville SAPS, the police received information about three men who had hijacked a motorycle on Wednesday, August 13. The police proceeded to the address and on arrival, they found three men pushing a motorcycle. Constable Malatji said that when officers enquired about the ownership of the bike, it was revealed that the motorcycle was hijacked in Yeoville. Const Malatji said three suspects were detained at the Yeoville SAPS and are expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges of possession of a hijacked motorcycle. @JoburgJourno
