Krejcir’s home robbed by five men

Five armed suspects broke into Radovan Krejcir’s house and stole two firearms, cellular phones, cash and computers during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The SAPS confirmed that five armed men broke into Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir’s house in Bedfordview on Wednesday, August 20.

According to Colonel Noxolo Kweza, of the SAPS provincial office, “Five armed suspects broke into Radovan Krejcir’s house and stole two firearms, cellular phones, cash and computers during the early hours of Wednesday morning. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery.”

“Krejcir’s two sons, their mother and a girlfriend were sleeping when they were awoken by armed men who pointed firearms at them. They demanded firearms and cash. The suspects gained entry into the house by breaking through the kitchen door,” said Col Kweza.

“The suspects tied up the family with shoelaces and electric cords before ransacking the bedrooms. They took two firearms, a 9mm pistol and a revolver, a loaded magazine and loose bullets. They also took the eldest son’s girlfriend’s vehicle, three cellular phones, an apple laptop and a desktop computer,” said Col Kweza.

According to Col Kweza, the men put the eldest son in the bathroom and put a towel over his head. The suspects then forced the others to lie down in one room.

“Some of the suspects escaped through the back while others drove out of the yard.   No arrests have been made and police investigations are continuing,” said Col Kweza. @Bedfordjourno
