The women were arrested in Yeoville. Constable Thabo Malatji, from the Yeoville SAPS, said police received information about a person carrying a firearm. They went to the address provided and found two women. The police officers searched the premises. They found a pistol, with its serial number filed off, and detonator wrapped in a pillow case. They were arrested and will be charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and the illegal possession of a detonator.
