Councillor urges residents to drive cautiously

Bedfordview’s ward 20 councillor, Clr Jill Humphreys, has urged motorists in Bedfordview to drive cautiously following reports of damage to some vehicles as a result of potholes.
“Kloof Road, Hawley Road and Concord Road are the roads worst affected by potholes. We have officials working to resolve the pothole problem in the area. However, until the issue is addressed, I urge motorists driving in these areas to do so cautiously,” said Clr Humphreys.
“We have good officials working extremely hard to address the issues. They are currently busy with setting up a new structure to address pothole issues in the area,” said Clr Humphreys.
“I have received a number of reports of vehicles being damaged by the potholes. I urge motorists to exercise caution and to stop speeding. There are also roads that are due for a repainting of the road-markings in the Bedfordview area, which is also an issue that is to be addressed by officials,” said Clr Humphreys. @BedfordJourno
