The Edenvale SAPS Crime Prevention Unit made three drug-related arrests over the weekend.
One of the arrests was made during a routine stop-and-search operation in the Edenvale CBD.
Acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts, said another arrest took place when officers visited a night club in the CBD on Saturday afternoon.
“Officers arrived at the venue and noticed that one of the men inside the premises was acting suspiciously. He was searched and found in possession of drugs. He was arrested on the spot,” Lt Col Roberts said.
All three men arrested over the weekend appeared in the Edenvale Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
