Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said police officers were at the corner of Joe Slovo Drive and End Street when they saw two men behaving suspiciously. The police officers searched the men and found sparkplugs in their possession. The men, aged 26 and 33, were arrested and detained at the Jeppe SAPS.
