One suspect was arrested for robbery in Yeoville. The arrests took place at the corner of Raleigh and Fortesque streets on Sunday, August 3.
According to Constable Thabo Malatji, the spokesperson of the Yeoville SAPS, the victim was at the corner when three men attacked him. The suspects took his cellular phone and cash. He said that police officers who were nearby, noticed the incident and were able to arrest one of the suspects. Const Malatji said the other two suspects are still at large and more arrests are expected soon. The arrested suspect is expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges of robbery. @JoburgJourno
