Fraudster arrested at store

When the cashiers alerted the police, and after an enquiry about the ownership of the card, it was established that it did not belong to him and the man was arrested.

A man was arrested for fraud in Yeoville. The arrest took place at the corner of Raleigh and Bedford streets on Friday, July 25.

According to Constable Thabo Malatji, the spokesperson for the Yeoville SAPS, the man went to a store and attempted to make a purchase with a credit card. When the cashiers alerted the police, and after an enquiry about the ownership of the card, it was established that it not belong to him and the man was arrested. @JoburgJourno
