Hunger stopped on Mandela Day

Over 648 000 meals were packaged for the less fortunate.

Edenglen High school pupils were at the Sandton convention centre on Mandela Day in support of the Stop Hunger Now SA organisation.

60 pupils were given the opportunity to get involved in preparation of the ingredients as well as the packaging of the food.

Over 648 000 meals were packaged for the less fortunate.

The pupils also met Mr Darren Simpson from Highveld Stereo 94.7 and Mr Benny Masekwameng, a Master Chef SA judge.
