The Bedfordview SAPS arrested two people for possession of stolen property at Elandsfontein in Alamain Road on July 16.
Two SAPS officers were on duty when they noticed a white Ford Ranger without a license plate. There were two occupants inside the vehicle.
The officers stopped the vehicle and conducted a search. They found Eskom, Telkom and Transnet cables to value of R80 000.
When the two occupants could not explain why they had the cables, the officers made the arrest.
The two men will appear in the Edenvale Court on charges of possession of stolen property. @BedfordJourno
