The EXPRESS received a shocking photograph that has apparently been doing the rounds among members of the community.
While some dog collars have studs on the outside, the photograph received shows a collar that has pointed pieces of metal on the inside.
The photograph shows what looks like a pitbull with the skin on its neck lifted up, with deep holes visible in the neck. Mr Ken Blair, a Kensington resident, was shocked when he received the photograph. “How can someone manufacture this for the destruction of dogs? How many more will be threatened this way?” he asked.
He said he does not know where the photograph emanated from, or if it is true, but he sent the picture to the EXPRESS in the hopes of finding out more.
