One dead, seven injured in collision

One man was killed and seven injured after a vehicle collided with a barrier on the N3 highway near Bedfordview on July 4.

According to the Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Ms Santi Steinmann, “On arriving at the scene, we found a motor vehicle with eight occupants which had collided with the barrier.”
“One person died and seven people were found to be in a serious condition. All the injured patients were treated on the scene before they were transported to a hospital for further medical care,” said Ms Steinmann.
The exact details pertaining to the cause of the accident and preceding events is currently unknown and is the subject of a police investigation. @BedfordJourno
