Village Toastmasters discuss brandy
Mr Jonathan Silverberg won the Best Impromptu Speaker award and Mr Theo Swart won the Best Evaluator award.
The Village Toastmasters held its monthly meeting, in which brandy was the topic of discussion.
Mr Jonathan Silverberg won the Best Impromptu Speaker award and Mr Theo Swart won the Best Evaluator award.
Mr Christo Botes won the Best Prepared Speaker award and also achieved his Competent Communicator award, after completing the 10 assignments in the Competent Communicator manual.
The Village Toastmasters also inducted its new committee for the years 2014 and 2015. Mr Jonathan Silverberg was appointed the District 74 treasurer for the upcoming year.
The Village Toastmasters meet every third Tuesday of every month at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, on the corner St David and Koster Roads in Elma Park.
