Discovery Eagles lose to Mongoose

The Discovery Eagles lost to EKH Mongoose in round two of the 2014 SuperSport Wheelchair Basketball Series on Saturday, June 21, at the Mandeville Sports Centre.

The Discovery Eagles went on the offensive during round two of the 2014 SuperSport Wheelchair Basketball Series on Saturday, June 21, at the Mandeville Sports Centre.

EKH Mongoose won the game 54-43 after an excellent performance from Gift Mooketsi and Jack Mokgosi. Mooketsi netted 16 points and Mokgosi netted 17 points for EKH Mongoose.

Fredrick Ganyaupfu netted 12 points for the Discovery Eagles.

This result means the Bladerunners remain on top of the log, ahead of both the Westville Wings and Discovery Eagles with bonus points.

The Discovery Eagles remain in fifth position with three wins and 502 points.
