Hall Real Estate held a Cuppa for Cansa event in Van Buuren Road, Bedfordview, on May 31.
The day featured items for sale at stalls, raffles, donations, hair-colouring, a car and bike display, jumping castles, colouring competitions, food and entertainment from the St John’s Quartet.
Estate agent and organiser, Ms Marcelle Wratten said, “The event is aimed at showing support for those living with cancer. All proceedings made during the event will be donated to the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).”
“Various schools donated toys which were on sale and helped raise the funds. It is important to show support for those living with cancer and it is always good to give back. This is the fifth Cuppa for Cansa I have organised in Van Buuren Road and the Bedfordview community has always come out in support,” said Ms Wratten.
