Public meeting
Clr Carlos da Rocha, the councillor for ward 66, will hold a public meeting to discuss service delivery concerns relating to Pikitup on June 21.
All residents in ward 66 and 118 are invited to the meeting.
Clr Da Rocha is helping in ward 118 since the former councillor, Ms Alison van der Molen, defected to the African National Congress (ANC).
The meeting, to start at 10am, will take place at the Hofland Park Recreation Centre in 5th Avenue, Bez Valley. He said he will present a document to show the breakdown in service delivery. He also hopes to have Pikitup officials at the meeting to answer questions relating to problems in affected suburbs.
A ward committee member for the housing portfolio will also be elected.
