Reaction officers from SSG arrested a man on suspicion of his involvement in a house burglary in Edenvale.
The arrest took place on May 23.
The acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Robert, said reaction officers responded to an alarm activation in the Avenues.
“When they arrived they were given a description of the alleged suspect. During further patrols, the officers found a man matching the description given,” said Lt Col Roberts.
The man was arrested and taken to the Edenvale Police Station.
He appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Monday last week.
