Africans celebrate
Africa Day celebrations took place in Yeoville on Sunday, May 25.
There were various celebrations across the country, in which Africans united in dance, song, music, arts, crafts, clothing, food and exhibitions to show the diversity of African culture.
The Africa Week Festival aimed to promote human rights and social cohesion among Africans. The celebrations also aimed to bring together the continental body as well as the various communities.
The Police Brass Band joined in on the celebrations and marched through the streets of Yeoville, followed by various entertainers and community members.
