Top academic awards for Edenvale High School

The teachers involved with consumer studies at the school are Mrs Mercia Janssen, deputy head and Mrs Claire Lunt, head of department for consumer studies.

Edenvale High School again received the award for achieving the top matriculation results in the Eastern Gauteng District for consumer studies.

It is the third consecutive year the school has won the prize.

Dr Larry Harmer, the principal, received the trophy for the school being placed third overall in the District which includes 72 schools.

Criteria used to determine this position were academic achievements as well as sport and cultural involvement.
