Jeppe competes in Midmar Mile
The water was rough at 11am when the girls took to the water. Nosipho Stiglmayr was in first.
Two teams from Jeppe High School for Girls participated in the Midmar Mile on January 25.
The water was rough at 11am when the girls took to the water. Nosipho Stiglmayr was in first. She was followed by Victoria Griffiths, Caitlin Davies and Bethany Harker. They all came in under 35 minutes.
Gina Warner, Coral Nomdo and Sydney McDougall finished in under 40 minutes. Two swimmers were unable to complete the race.
Nosipho and Victoria swam in the individual event the next day, when the weather conditions were greatly improved.
They were joined by another Jeppe swimmer, Danielle de Freitas.
