The Bedfordview SAPS seized dagga on a vacant property on Kings Road, Bedfordview, on February 14.
The Bedfordview SAPS’ Colonel Pratt has urged community members who own open stands to take care of the them by doing regular clean-ups and inspections.
“It is important for community members to clean up these open stands to prevent them from becoming breeding grounds for criminals. Criminals use these places as an area to plant drugs, to hide after committing a crime and even as a place of dwelling illegally,” said Col Pratt.
“We as the SAPS would like commend the local security team who made us aware of this area. The help of community members ensures our job is done better. We will dispose of the dagga and keep watch over these sorts of areas,” said Col Pratt.

We agree that it should/will be legalized the thing is, is that the plant and the planters(so called farmers) are committing serious offences whilst growing this peaceful herb on a scale to re-distribute to fund the derogatory behaviour. Understand before you question SAPS on their actions.
