Help save Daniel’s spine

Daniel dos Santos, a Germiston resident and Jeppe High School for Boys grade 10 pupil, is in need of surgery and rehabilitation following an accident that occurred on January 6.

Funding for a local pupil who suffered a severe spinal injury is urgently being sought.

Daniel dos Santos, a Germiston resident and Jeppe High School for Boys grade 10 pupil, is in need of surgery and rehabilitation following an accident that occurred on January 6.

Daniel, his sister Claudia and a friend were involved the car accident.

Claudia died at the scene of the accident.

Doctors are estimating Daniel’s recovery costs to be between R1.5 and R2.5 million.

A benefit concert will be held on Sunday, January 26 at Tanz Live in Cresta.

A group of South African musicians opened their hearts and donated their time and talent to this special cause.

Graeme Watkins Project, Mrs B, Shadowclub, The Illustrators, Justin Serrao, Richard Brokensha and The Motherland have come on board. Doors open at 11am and the show starts at noon.

Ticket prices are R100 for adults and R50 for children under the age of three. Bookings can be made by calling Gianna on 011 476-4169.
