House robbery investigated

The woman said there was no money in the house and the three suspects proceeded to search the house and cupboards, where they stole money, cellular phones and jewellery.

A house robbery took place on Pamin Street in Bedfordview on Monday, December 16.

According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “The victims, a husband and wife, were about to leave their home for Pretoria when they heard a noise at the back of the house. The woman went to investigate and discovered three armed men. One of the suspects had a gun pointed at her. The men demanded that she keep quiet and demanded money.

The woman said there was no money in the house and the three suspects proceeded to search the house and cupboards, where they stole money, cellular phones and jewellery.

Before the men fled the scene, they also stole two vehicles, a white Ford Bantam and a white Toyota Corolla.

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
