Bennies boy bags 10 distinctions

Andre's distinctions were only part of the 280 distinctions attained by St Benedict’s College from of the 112 matriculants who wrote the NSC examinations, making it the highest ever distinction rate of 2.6 distinctions per pupil.

Andre Pierre de Villiers is St Benedict’s College best performing pupil after obtaining 10 distinctions, with a 91.4 percent average, in his final matric examinations.

He led St Benedict’s College matric class of 2013, which achieved historic results in the 2013 National Senior Certificate (NSC) of the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) with a 100 percent matric pass rate for the 39th consecutive year.

Andre’s results means he features on the IEB Outstanding Achievers’ List, putting him in the top five percent nationally in six subjects.
