One suspect was arrested following a burglary at a business premises on Kings Road, Bedfordview, on November 18.
A woman working at the business left after ensuring all doors and windows were closed.
The woman later received a call from Chubb security, informing her the alarm had been triggered.
She returned to the business to inspect the area and on her arrival, found that a door which had been forced open to gain entry. There was also an abandoned Nissan bakkie outside the premises.
Police later found that the suspects ran away on foot, after the security company arrived, abandoning their vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
