The manager said there had been a break-in. When she arrived, she found the office door was forced open.

The Jeppe SAPS is still searching for a suspect linked to an attempted business burglary that took place on May 26.

Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said when she left work at the Value Commercial Centre in Kensington, everything as in order.

“The following day she received a call from her manager. The manager said there had been a break-in. When she arrived, she found the office door was forced open. On further inspection, she found that the computer cables were cut,” said W/O Munyai.

They viewed the security camera footage and found that two men had entered the business. They attempted to steal the computers and were disturbed by a car that drove past.

A case of attempted burglary and malicious damage to property was opened.
