Jeppe alumni return

Several Jeppe High School for Girls alumni have returned to the school to give back.

“It says something good about a school when so many of its staff members are former pupils. Jeppe High School for Girls is proud that 14 educators are Jeppe alumni. Having qualified as teachers and gained experience at other schools, these dedicated women have returned to Jeppe High School for Girls to continue the legacy they were a part of as pupils,” said Ms Carole Heming, the public relations officer of the school.

Mrs Carrajola, Ms Smythe, Mrs Sanders and Ms Thompson are mathematics teachers. Ms Smithers, Ms Griffiths and Ms Rothbart teach English. Mrs Watt teaches consumer studies and Ms Wentzel is an intern in consumer studies.

Ms De Villiers teaches economics and management science, and accounting. Ms Gubler teaches economic management services. Ms Weideman teaches life science.
