School opens new hall

Holy Rosary School recently held the official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its 1 000-seat multipurpose Bishop Shanahan Hall.

The new hall features a gallery and conference facilities.

The opening was attended by members of the school’s board, parents’ association, members of staff, parents, Holy Rosary pupils and other guests.

The builders and team of engineers, as well as the associated building contractors, ensured the project was efficiently run and well controlled. A complete audio, audio visiual and lighting solution was also installed.

Local choirs performed to commemorate the opening. The choirs included those of Holy Rosary Primary School, St Benedict’s Preparatory School, Assumption Convent Primary School, Holy Rosary High School, Jeppe High School for Boys, Assumption Convent High School, St David’s Marist Inanda School, and Holy Rosary School music pupils.
