Senior citizens treated to Christmas luncheon

Over 100 senior citizens from Edenvale were treated to a special lunch at Fahrenheit on Tuesday last week.

Those attending were treated to music, lunch and gifts.

The event was organised by the executive committee from the Edenvale Community Police Forum (ECPF) and sponsored by Fahrenheit, Karaglen SuperSpar, Mrs Alex Carlyle, Mr Gilbert Martin, Mr Kevin Norman, Pick n Pay Terrace Road, Builders Warehouse, Emer-G-Med, Pizzazz Entertainment and Tyron.

Numerous donations towards the event were also received from members of the community.

The ECPF received a donation of 150 Christmas stockings and called on businesses in the area to donate small gifts to be used as stocking fillers.
