Two caught with stolen property

After enquiring about the items, it was found the men broke into a business in Eastleigh.

Members of the Edenvale SAPS conducting a routine patrol arrested two men in connection with a business burglary in Eastleigh on Sunday last week.

Acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts, said officers noticed the two men walking down the street carrying a number of items.

“After enquiring about the items, it was found the men broke into a business in Eastleigh. It was the second time over the weekend the men had gained access to the property to steal items,” said Lt Col Roberts.

The two men appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday last week on charges of business burglary and for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
