WARNING: Graphic content – Skull found in Kensington
A human skull was found earlier today and other remains were just discovered in a drain in Kensington.
According to authorities, a security guard saw a skull stuck in a drain close to Kitchener Avenue and Lancaster Street.
Police were contacted and the skull was retrieved. Other remains were seen stuck in a drain. Police were struggling to retrieve the remains due to the rain. Emergency Management Services and the Dog Unit were contacted. The Dog Unit with its cadaver dogs arrived. Authorities have just pulled out other remains which is believed to be parts of the lower body.
According to authorities the skeleton could be the remains of a person in the mid 20’s but investigations will still have to be conducted to confirm details about the skeleton. Authorities are still at the scene.
