Drug dealer arrested again

A drug dealer who ran into police officers with a bag of dagga two weeks ago has been re-arrested by the Edenvale SAPS.

Acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts, confirmed that the man was arrested for the second time on Saturday night last week.

Two weeks ago, officers arrived at the man’s house in Eastleigh following a tip-off from the community that he was selling dagga.

In his attempts to flee, the man ran into police officers with a large bag of dagga.

Last week a community tip-off again lead police officers to the man’s house where they again found a large amount of dagga.

“We appreciate the information received from the community and will continue to follow up on tip-offs received,” Lt Col Roberts said.

The man appeared in the Edenvale Magistrate’s Court on Monday, last week.
