Greenstone runners do well at Comrades
Despite the challenge the members are happy that they completed the marathon.
A total of 58 runners from the Greenstone Hill Running Club recently sweated it out at the 2018 Comrades Marathon.

Local runners of all ages joined the thousands who ran from Pietermaritzburg to Durban on June 10.
“The general feeling from the members is that the marathon was the hardest thing they have ever done,” said Tammy Craig, the CHRC administrator.
She said despite the challenge, members are happy they completed the marathon.
At the finish line club member Mark Buchel proposed to his girlfriend Machelle Bremer.
Fellow runner Alan Mc Cormack suffered severe dehydration on the day and was hospitalised in Durban.
Over the years Mc Cormack has won 11 silver comrades medals.
