In the annual points competition the top woman was Ms Williams-Sutton with 2 144 points and Mr Bradley Oakley-Brown who has 1 363 points.

The Gillooly’s parkrun held on September 17 saw over 860 runners from the surrounding area participate in the run.

Of the 863 runners that took part in the parkrun 141 runners were first-timers and 232 participants recorded new personal bests.

The top three men participants were:

Mr Stuart McColl who finished first with a time of 18:03.

Mr Ainsley Williams of Pirates Road Running came in second place with 18:45.

Mr Jeffrey Macer-Wright from the Greenstone Hill Running Club was third over the line, achieving a time of 18:57.

The top three women participants were:

Ms Jordan Dowds of the Bedfordview Country Club, who was the first women, came 31st overall with a time of 24:06.

Ms Oneida Cooper was the second woman to cross the line with a time of 24:16, and came 32nd overall.

Ms Heidi Williams-Sutton of the Greenstone Hill Running Club finished with a time of 24:35. She was the third women to cross the line and placed 36th overall.

In the annual points competition the top woman is Ms Williams-Sutton with 2 144 points, and Mr Bradley Oakley-Brown who has 1 363 points.

The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores:

Stuart McColl who came first overall was graded 85.87% for his time of 18:03.

Marius Carstens who came 10th overall was graded 75.89% for the time of 20:57.

Ainsley Williams who came second overall was graded 70.31% for the time of 18:45.

Three participants at the parkrun received a T-shirt for their participation in the parkrun:

Mr Clinton van der Berg received an award for completing his 100th parkrun.

Joshua Vickery received an award for completing his 50th parkrun.

Ms Erica Schnaar received an award for completing her 10th park run.

The Gillooly’s parkrun which started earlier this year in April has had 4 555 runners from 95 different athletics clubs take part.

The free weekly event held every Saturday at Gillooly’s Farm in Bedfordview starts at 8am.

Participants only need to register once.
