Jeppe fun run hits the streets

Participants were encouraged to dress up in colourful carnival-themed clothing for the event.

Runners of all ages took part in the annual 5km Jeppe Fun Run hosted by Jeppe High School for Girls on August 13.

According to Mr Dave Lincoln, head of sport strategy for the high school, the fun run was a fundraiser for an internal bridge that the school plans on building between Jeppe High School for Girls and the school’s sports grounds.

The run, which began at 8am on Saturday, started on the grounds of Jeppe High School for Girls and ended on the school’s sports grounds.

Participants were encouraged to dress up in colourful carnival-themed clothing for the event.
