Bedfordview Last Man Stands (LMS) Division 2 side Tenacious 8 took a hammering from the Red Romans on Sunday, November 9, when the two teams clashed at Elandspark School.
Bedfordview LMS attracts players from across Johannesburg East.
The Red Romans won the toss and elected to bat first.
They set of a score of 135 all out before sending their opposition to the crease.
In just 10.1 overs, the Romans secured the win when they managed to take all eight wickets for 43 runs.
The top scoring Romans batsman for the day was Malcolm Gower, who smashed 68 runs off 43 balls.
He was followed by Craig Fox who managed 35 runs off 27 balls.
Leading the bowling attack for the Romans were Gideon Hoffman and Craig Fox, who each took three wickets.
