The powerful and shocking Skierlik will be staged at the Soweto Theatre from March 21 to April 13.
The play, written and performed by Phillip Dikotla, takes audiences on a journey to a town called Skierlik.
The town made headlines in 2008 when Johan Nel, a teenager at the time, went on a shooting spree killing four people.
The play was nominated for the 2013 Fleur du Cap for “New South African Script” and Phillip Dikotla was nominated for the “best performance in a one-man show”.
Skierlik has an age restriction. It is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
