The Greek and Latin Studies Department of the University of Johannesburg and the Consulate General of Greece in Johannesburg, will host a world premier screening of Sophocles’ “Trachiniae – Women of Trachis” tonight.
It is directed by Thomas Moschopoulos with the National Theatre of Greece.
This devastating tragedy about the prophesied demise of Hercules, is set in motion by his wife Deianeira’s desperate passion to win back her husband’s love.
The shows start at 6pm at the UJ Arts Centre Theatre.
