Bedfordview Rotarians welcome district governor

Senosha congratulated the president and the club on their achievements.

Rotary Club, Knights Pendragon recently welcomed a special visitor the Rotary district governor for Rotary District 9400.

The Bedfordview-based club welcomed district governor George Senosha on August 21.

District governor nominee Grace van Zyl, who will be district governor from 2026 to 2027, joined him.

After Senosha’s arrival, the rotary members took them to three centres; Bethany Home, Gerald Fitzpatrick House, and Rest-a-While Service Centre.

At the centres, Senosha and Van Zyl were shown the work the Rotarians do.

Later Senosha met with the board of Knights Pendragon, where the president, Andrew Paschalides, and his board highlighted the club’s other projects they were involved in.

These include youth work, health days, student education, and support for NGOs such as Little Eden Society.

At a dinner hosted in his honour that evening, Senosha congratulated the president and the club on their

achievements; the commitment to the community and its ongoing ability to assess a situation, the needs and the club’s methods to intervene and swiftly solve a problem.

He praised the club’s goals and achievements.

Senosha highlighted that the club had members with a vast array of knowledge and skills.

With this in mind, he requested that members offer to assist the district and other clubs with various projects.

Paschalides thanked Senosha for his visit and said that whatever the club does, it would always aim to benefit the community and its people.
