Edenvale Senior Citizens Society hosts morning market on July 27

The society relies on the markets to raise funds to continue its good work for the seniors of Edenvale and surrounding areas.

Edenvale Senior Citizens Society invites community members to attend its morning market.

It will be held at the Edenvale Community Centre on July 27 between 08:30 and 13:00.

Curry and rice as well as bacon rolls, cupcakes and tea, coffee or cold drinks will be available for sale.
The society’s charity shop will also be open.

Entrance is free and as the market is indoors it will not be affected by the weather.

Executive committee member Linda Ranwell said the society relies on the markets to raise funds to continue its good work for the seniors of Edenvale and surrounding areas.

“We help their mental well-being with board games and cards and keep them fit with seniors’ gym, yoga and table tennis,” said Linda.

The kitchen also makes meals for each day of the week, these must be booked the previous day but is open for members or non-members or even as a takeaway meal.
