Hayden Blignaut (11): Mandela Day is a celebration of giving back not because we are forced to but because we chose to give back, especially to those who are in need.Mosa Sedibe (13): I want to be like he was. Not just making sandwiches but making a difference and making people feel loved and cared for.
Shalom Zulu (13): We celebrate Mandela Day as a remembrance and to give back to our communities and those who are less fortunate.
Eliana Birru (13): For me, it is about knowing that one more person gets to receive a meal today.
Nomcebo Hlatshwayo (13): Our class made about 250 sandwiches and it felt good to be a part of something that aims to make a difference. We Had fun and enjoyed that this will help a lot of people.
