Escape room launched in Bedfordview

Hashtag Escape, established in 2005, recently moved to Bedfordview and expanded its escape room offerings to create incredible adventure-filled experiences.

On July 6, Hashtag Escape launched its bigger and bolder venue at Bedford Centre.

This venue promises to provide the ultimate escape room experience for those looking to get out and do something a little bit different.

At the launch, Christopher Tsatsarolakis, the founder of Hashtag Escape, said that the moment felt surreal.

Christopher said after having to relocate premises an opportunity presented itself at Bedford Centre and the move to Bedfordview was decided.

He said Hashtag Escape, the first South African homegrown escape room, was established nine years ago.

There are currently four escape rooms designed for groups of two to seven players.

Each room has a different theme and is packed with various puzzles that participants need to solve to escape.

For those seeking thrills with a group, Hashtag Escape presents the Escape Chambers, where teams of eight to 24 can come together to conquer challenges.

Each chamber has a theme, and players must crack the code and solve the puzzles

“Hashtag Escape has always been about pushing boundaries and creating experiences,” said Christopher Tsatsarolakis, the founder of Hashtag Escape.

“Our new venue allows us to do that on a grander scale, accommodating guests and delivering even more excitement.”

In the coming months, Hashtag Escape will also launch a daring couples challenge and a children’s escape room.
